Overhead Bin Facts
Empty Welker bins weigh less than 4 tons. And, all bins fall in the under 6500lb range.
The roof is made of 14GA steel.
While the pit made with 12GA steel.
The top fill opening is approximately 16” in diameter.
The bottom slide exit is approximately 1 Square Foot.
Bin legs are made from 6” X 6” X 15# I-Beam.
Bins are vented on the roof, above each leg, in the corners of the pit,
as well as the lid which is designed to be self-venting.
White is the standard color for bins.
The inside of our bins is NOT painted or epoxied.
We do not recommend putting sticky or wet feeds in our overhead bins. Or leaving feed inside over the summer season if you are not feeding.
Additional drive-through heights are available by special order. Prices will vary, depending on the amount of additional height you would like.
We strongly recommend securing Welker bins to a cement bin pad. We have instructions below as a handy, easy-to-download PDF file.
Delivery is available; or you may haul your own.
We ask for a 40% down payment along with a signed purchase agreement upon placing your order. Balance is due at delivery.
Bins are built to order.
